ROPE ACCESS

Rope access is a safe method for working at difficult-to-reach heights using industrial-grade ropes and equipment. IRATA, the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA), is the global governing body that trains and certifies professionals in the rope access industry. Rope access is widely used in industries such as manufacturing, wind power, and offshore. Our typical work sites include boilers, tanks, flare stacks, chimneys, reactors, vessels, and wind turbines.

Safety in rope access work is based on thorough planning of the task and rescue operations, the use of at least two anchor points, and regular practice and skill maintenance. We are prepared to rescue each other from any site as needed, since we always conduct site-specific risk assessments, rope access and rescue plans before starting work, and regularly train in our dedicated facilities in Porvoo.

The IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor certification is the highest level in rope access, held by our company founder Antti Liikala, who has over 10 years of experience. Our team also includes IRATA Level 2 and Level 1 technicians with specialized skills, including welding expertise.
